ASOMVEL ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM SET YOUR WORLD ON FIRE

  1. ASOMVEL have today announced their fifth album Set Your World On Fire for release on October 1st. It is available for pre-order now. They have also unleashed the first taste of the upcoming record with the fierce title track.
     
    ‘Set Your World On Fire’ smashes through the gates with a cluster bomb of smokin’ hot rock. It fires off scorching riffs, spicy licks, searing solos and an explosive rhythm of quake-inducing drums and thunderous bass, while the vicious growl of Ralph Robinson cements the arrival of ASOMVEL’s epic next chapter.
     
    The Yorkshire four piece are notorious for excessive volume and high-octane shows, no better demonstrated than in the video for ‘Set Your World On Fire’, recorded at the Zenith Arena in Paris on their tour with Airbourne earlier this year.
     
    Regarding the single ASOMVEL say, “‘Set Your World on Fire’ will take a blowtorch to any doubts you have about the current state of rock ‘n’ roll. Get your leathers on, get the tinnies cracked, and turn it up ‘til your head explodes.”
     
    The forthcoming album is a 12-track no-holds-barred barrage of hard rock and speed metal destined to elevate ASOMVEL to even greater heights, becoming the crowning glory in their catalogue. It’s a statement made clear immediately with album opener ‘King Of The World’ which sets the unforgiving pace of the record.
     
    Set Your World On Fire finds ASOMVEL taking aim at global leaders, as demonstrated in ‘World At War’, a piercing glare at the decimation happening around the world today as the dark and heavy song hammers home the pain.
     
    Meanwhile the determined ‘Blood Runs Cold’ puts power in the hands of the people, with the driving, fist pumping track not wasting a second to thrive in chaos, starting a revolution to reach the top, while the following gallop of ‘Eye Of The Storm’ takes things deeper and marks a turning point, as what comes next is ‘Your Worst Nightmare’, an explosive track hellbent on creating the carnage felt throughout Set Your World On Fire.

ASOMVEL have established themselves worldwide as a force to be reckoned with on and off record and have performed extensive tours globally. They have performed numerous sold out headline tours, while also completing extensive runs with the likes of Airbourne and Wolfmother, alongside gracing stages at major festivals such as Barcelona Rock Fest, Bloodstock and more.
