BEARTOOTH - Barrowlands Glasgow, 6th October 2026, live review

A Tuesday night, one of Glasgow's most iconic venues and a highly anticipated gig for myself!
The final night of Beartooth's UK and European tour and what an emotionally charged night it was.
This tour comes off the back of Beartooth's newest album released at the end of August, which I have also reviewed so feel free to play catch up! It's definitely worth a read and a listen!
Beartooth came on tour with two fantastic bands supporting this year, Kingdom of Giants (whom I first discovered when one of their tracks were played in the middle of a horror movie) and Silverstein, one of my favourite bands and a band I've been listening to since I was about 15 so I mean, I was going to have a good time anyway! But none of these bands disappointed and that was evident from the overwhelming energy from this Tuesday night crowd!
Kingdom of Giants opened the show, and despite not having their drummer with them! (Truman was turned back at the french/UK border over ETA issues) They still put on a blistering performance to get the crowd warmed up for the rest of the night, early established circle pits and even a cheeky wall of death littered the performance and set us up beautifully for the metalcore to come!
Silverstein literally never let me down but they were on top form tonight regardless! Hailing from Canada, it's always a joy when they make it north of the border. The set started with a couple of tracks from their newest album, 'pink moon' but soon we were on a trip down memory lane and enjoying bangers from 'discovering the water front' and 'when broken is easily fixed'. Silverstein were also a man down, and despite lacking their bassist, billy still put on fantastically tight performance and the crowd were raring to go for the headliner!
Beartooth... well, holy shit. I've seen Beartooth a number of times, and frankly this is the best version of the band I have ever seen. The energy from every member, the emotion in the room was palpable.. every song, every cord, every lyric hitting like a sledge hammer. Lead singer Caleb, is genuinely in the best shape, mentally and physically that I have ever seen him in and that was so very evident in this performance.
The set started with the title track from the new album, Pure Ecstacy and the crowd were absolutely ecstatic to hear it live! We were then indulged with a generous helping of Beartooth back catalogue, with tracks such as Hated, In Between and Riptide intersperced with some of the best tracks the new album has to offer!
An all too soon emotionally charged ending after an outrageously good 16 song setlist, caleb took to the stage to thank everyone for coming out to the gig, the final one of the tour and continuing to support him and the band despite the massive amount of online activity surrounding his personal life the last couple of months. The crowd were 100% behind him and the band and it was beautiful to see!
A new era for the band? Maybe.
A band certainly not to be missed? Oh, definitely.
Stay tuned for my Vlog of the gig? You better!
