Clean Slate EP Release at Bloc+

So , what can I say about Clean Slate? Well , I have caught them before and I can say - If you're looking for polished production or radio-friendly hooks, look elsewhere. This set completely thrashed the eardrums. Just pure, unhinged noise in the best way possible. 

Considering there is only a guitar and a drummer - this band has weaponised pure noise, anchored by blistering riffs.

The lead singer was the true gravity of the room—a young, chaotic tempest who magnetized the crowd the second her hand hit the microphone. 

The gig served as a lethal live showcase for their new EP release, Ren Skiffer. Her performance was defined by pure aggression—snarling through lyrics, pacing the floor with a trapped, kinetic tension, and spitting venom into every line. There was no theatrical pretense here, just genuine rage and raw energy that pushed the crowd into an immediate frenzy 

After a fantastic cover of the Kennedys - Nazi Punks fuck off and Neat Neat Neat we move onto the EP tracks

Angry: A short, sharp shock to kick off the original material. Unfiltered disaffection built on a simple riff and driven by snarled, high-speed vocals.

Feminist:Confronting societal double standards with unapologetic energy.

Gelatine: A fast, aggressive trackwhich. Exposing commercial hypocrisy through sharp, jagged guitar work and a relentless, driving rhythm section.

Johnny Rotten : A blunt middle finger to sell-outs. This track shreds fake posers mimicking old-school rebellion. It pits genuine, raw, present-day rage against yesterday’s cheap, watered-down shock value. 

Bus:  Ever been on a miserable, pissed-off bus ride? This one's for you! Trapped with absolute assholes? I know this all too well !!! haha -- . Brutal, loud, and painfully relatable.!

Clean Slate turned the venue upside down, leaving a sweat-drenched testament to punk rock at its most primal and weaponised.
